Tune for. DeSmuME in WebAssembly is single-threaded and interpreter-only. When it drops below the DS's 59.83 fps the audio buffer starves, which is what makes the music crackle. Skipping rendered frames fixes the sound but costs smoothness. Your hardware, your call.
The bugs are still here
Original 2011 build, unmodified.
- Undo can make you unloseable. Taking back the contre-torpilleur or the croiseur clears one grid cell too many, sized from the ship in your hand instead of the one being removed. It can wipe a cell belonging to a ship already placed, leaving you 16 hittable cells instead of 17. Defeat needs 17 hits, so the computer can never win.
- Undoing the carrier strands half its sprite on screen forever.
- Undo forgets orientation, so a ship can draw vertically but count as horizontal.
- The Manual reads, in full: "Not avaible for the moment / I'm to lazy to write it immediately ;)"
- The defeat screen says "Looser...". So does every filename.
